ADVENTURE GAMES FOR LITERACY

Sleuth IT adventure games are whodunnits for the classroom which place students at the heart of the action. As each story your unfolds they must turn detective, sifting through evidence, analysing witness interviews, exploring locations and cracking codes in order to gather all the information needed to solve the mystery.

As they work to solve each case your students will develop core literacy skills, reading for understanding, critical thinking skills, collaboration and communication.

DIFFERENTIATED LEARNING

All Sleuth IT games support differentiated learning. Each Primary (KS2) game is supplied in two separate versions, to be played alongside each other.

Challenged readers, students needing additional support, or whose first language is not English will experience the same adventure as their classmates, with scaffolded learning tailored to their abilities.

The story, evidence and outcome remain the same at each level, making for a fully inclusive educational experience.

A WHOLE TERM’S RESOURCES

Each Sleuth IT game comes with a full term’s worth of resource materials for the teacher and student. A Teacher’s Guide, Student Dossier, and all lessons and projects, project files and resources for the whole term are supplied in the Sleuth IT box.
